Develop high voltage and low voltage electrical harness architectures and wiring harness schematics working within the design release process. Create and update vehicle electrical/electronic component test plans and procedures. Develop and adapt electronic components such as high side and low side drivers, network interfaces, and gateways. Participate in the Systems Engineering process and design review meetings. Participate in Failure Mode and Effect Analysis of system components. Work with suppliers to specify, functionally test, and characterize the performance of high voltage chargers, inverters, other power electronic devices, motors and energy storage systems. Introduce validated products to the engineering team and support the phase gate release process. Support all vehicles build events, conduct root cause analysis, and provide corrective actions on circuit design issues. Document processes, specifications, and procedures that support the design and manufacture of Electrical designs for vehicle. Utilize the following tools and technologies: Mentor Graphics, AutoCAD, NX and Teamcenter.
